Refund policy

Cancelling is one click, and you keep what you paid for until the period ends.

Not final yet. This is a draft for a prototype. Still to be filled in: a contact email for families, how many days a refund request can be made within, which state's law applies.

Right now: no real money moves

Payments are still in test mode, so nothing charged today is real. This page describes what will happen when the app starts taking real payments.

Cancelling

Open Plans & pricing and choose Manage or cancel. Cancelling stops the next payment. Your plan stays unlocked until the end of the period you already paid for, and then the family drops back to the free sample of each world. Nothing is deleted when a plan lapses โ€” stars and learner profiles stay put in case you come back.

Switching plans

Moving between plans happens on the same billing page. If you move to a bigger plan, the new limits start right away; if you move down, you keep the bigger plan until the period ends.

Getting money back

How long after a charge a refund can be requested hasn't been set yet, and will be stated here before launch.

Either way, just ask. Tell us the email on the account and the date of the charge, and say what went wrong โ€” a plan that didn't unlock, a double payment, something broken. Refunds go back to the original card through the payment provider, and can take a few working days to appear.

Who takes the payment

Paddle is the merchant of record for subscriptions, which means they process the charge, the receipts and any refund, and handle sales tax. We don't see or store card numbers.

The yearly Family plan

Family is billed once, for a year. If you'd like a reminder before it renews, say so and we'll do what the app can on our side.

Trouble first, refund second

If something isn't working โ€” a world that won't open, a Coach that won't answer โ€” tell us and we'll try to fix it or make it right, usually the same day.

A contact email hasn't been added to this page yet โ€” tell whoever shared this link with you.
